Wier was founded in 1991 by Steve Wier, a Construction Science graduate from Texas A&M University. The former name “Wier Enterprises” worked well in the company’s 30+ year history, but since that time, Wier has diversified to serve a variety of industry sectors, and “Wier Commercial Construction” enables new business prospects to more easily associate the company with its mission of operating as a top general contractor in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. In addition to the new DBA, Wier also has a redesigned logo, as well as a rebranded website at wiercc.com.
